Because we all remember the time when we memorized the choreography for Britney Spears' "Slave 4 U" performance at the 2001 VMAs. You can't deny it...you know you did. Well, the 19-year-old singer grew up loving the performance and decided she would honor it by adapting elements of the famous number and incorporating them into her Premios Juventud performance. Genius. We're vicariously living through you, Becky.
The star performed "Sola" which is Becky's first Spanish single. The second the show started, and we saw the singer in a cage, we knew where she was going with it. Although her costume was not exactly like Britney's, Becky did a major key from the famous VMA performance—a big yellow python.
And we're happy to report that Becky was not injured while dancing with the python and thankfully it didn't wrap around her hand, like Banana the Python did to Britney.
