Justin Theroux is standing by his woman, his Women Crush Wednesday, following her public, scathing attack against tabloid media.

The 44-year-old actor took to Instagram to offer sweet, encouraging words of support for wife Jennifer Aniston, 47, who wrote in a Huffington Post op-ed Tuesday, "For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of 'journalism,' the 'First Amendment' and 'celebrity news.'"

"#wcw Here's just one reason why," Theroux wrote alongside a black and white photo of Aniston sitting in between two bowling lanes, linking to the piece. "#gogirl."

Celebrity allies also expressed their support for Aniston.

"Wowza! Everyone should take a second to read this incredibly powerful op-ed written by Jennifer Aniston for Huffington Post," Nikki Reed, 28, wrote on Instagram. "Beautiful, eloquent, and a true dose of kickass."

"AMEN!!!!!" tweeted Anna Paquin, 33.

"Good for her!" wrote Margaret Cho, 47.

"FTW," tweeted 30-year-old How to Get Away With Murder actor Matt McGorry.

In her op-ed, Aniston wrote, "We use celebrity 'news' to perpetuate this dehumanizing view of females, focused solely on one's physical appearance, which tabloids turn into a sporting event of speculation. Is she pregnant? Is she eating too much? Has she let herself go? Is her marriage on the rocks because the camera detects some physical 'imperfection'?"

"True words by Jennifer Aniston," tweeted Olivia Wilde, 32.

Meanwhile, provocative commentator and The Daily Mail's U.S. editor-at-large Piers Morgan, published a counter-essay to Aniston's titled "My dear Jennifer, if you're so fed up with having your body judged, stop trying to make it look so Photoshop-perfect on magazine covers."

"There's another reason why the media objectify and scrutinize famous women, and why little girls get confused about beauty and body image. It's this: female stars like Jennifer Aniston deliberately perpetuate the myth of 'perfection' by posing for endless magazine covers which have been airbrushed so much that in some cases the celebrity is virtually unrecognizable," Morgan wrote in his piece.

He said that while he "commends" Aniston for speaking out about her concerns, "if she really wants to make a difference to this ugly process, she can start by getting a tiny bit uglier herself and letting us see what she REALLY looks like on a magazine cover. Then the little girls she's so worried about can know exactly what they are aspiring to be."

Paquin and Chrissy Teigen, 30, responded to Morgan's op-ed on Twitter.

"You missed the point by about a mile," Paquin said. "1) we aren't actually given the option of not being photo shopped. 2) You've never been subjected to this kind of bullying...the issue of women's representation in print media and pap pics taken for sole purpose of #bodyshaming aren't really same topic."

"@piersmorgan saw your piece on Jennifer Aniston. Why do you ALWAYS take the road of being the piece of s--t a--hole?" wrote Teigen, who had feuded with Morgan online before.

"Morning, Ms Teigen. You didn't actually read it did you...? Try doing that before throwing another diva tantrum," Morgan responded.

"Unfortunately, I read it. I'm not so much a diva as I am a person who slows down at car crashes, apparently," Teigen said.

"Might have to do my next @DailyMail column on @chrissyteigen - just to REALLY annoy her," he later posted.

Morgan also posted a photo of Aniston posing naked for GQ's January 2009 cover.

"I'm curious...do women actually disagree with my new column about Jennifer Aniston?" he asked.
