Chrissy Teigen is taking a stand as a mother on behalf of a fellow famous mommy.

Just three months after giving birth to her daughter Luna Simone, the television host has already battled non-stop backlash from the Internet over her parenting decisions, beginning with the time she went to dinner with her husband John Legend after giving birth.

Fortunately, the vocal star has not shied away from responding to the senseless commentary and this time, she lent her voice in defense of another famous parent, Kristin Cavallari. The Laguna Beach star, who shares three children with husband and football pro Jay Cutler, ignited digital controversy after sharing a photo of her two sons sporting matching swim trunks on the beach alongside their father. While the image was meant to celebrate Independence Day, followers ignored the sentiment and instead accused the star of starving her children

"Seeing pictures of your boys and how they look is a bit shocking to see! I know you cook healthy but to see the bones just doesn't seem normal, sorry!" read one comment. The 29-year-old was not about to let the false claims fly. "Yep, I starve my children. Just blocked the most people I've ever blocked in my entire life. Happy 4th hahaha," Cavallari wrote in a comment.

After E! News reported on the brewing social media attack and how it had crossed the line, Teigen stepped in to express her own uncensored concern over the remarks. "I will never know why parents criticize others so harshly, knowing they'd go insane if they were on the receiving end ALLTHETIME," she wrote on Twitter.

"NO parent out there thinks they're perfect. I loathe these s--thead commenters. Who would want to make someone feel horrible for fun?" she continued. "Anyway, love you @KristinCav and screw everyone's bored ass!"

Cavallari appreciated the well wishes. "lol thx girl love u and ur little girl is adorable," she replied Tuesday morning.

As is typical of a longtime celebrity, this is not the first time Cavallari has navigated controversy. In 2014, the MTV star revealed she had decided not to vaccinate her two sons at the time—a decision that launched immediate negative public reaction. She later appeared on Watch What Happens Live to defend the decision.

"At the end of the day, I'm just a mom," she explained. "I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid."
