Some fans leave nothing but positive impressions on artists. For Drake and Rihanna, one of those supporters was Megan Flores.

On Saturday, news broke that the Florida native had passed after a brave battle with cancer.

Without any hesitation, the rapper and "Diamonds" singer took a break from touring and traveling to pay tribute to a special fan who they may never forget.

"Rest in peace my angel. I know heaven is celebrating today," Drake shared on Instagram. "Thank you for the moments and emotions we share. I am blessed to have known you in this lifetime. @ovomegann."

Rihanna looked back on one of her appearances in Miami when Drake introduced her to Megan. What came next was an unforgettable moment backstage.

"She's inspired me so much with her strength and her perspective on life! So fearless and kind!" Rihanna wrote online Saturday afternoon. "It's heavy news that I can't slide in your DMs anymore like I used to!! There was always a smile waiting for me there! You brightened any day! Rest up baby girl! We will miss you!!"

With help from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Megan was able to see Rihanna and Drake in person back in March. She later expressed her emotions after the meet-and-greet.

"BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!, I MET THE LOML (Love of my life). He was so sweet & down to earth," she said at the time of their hangout. "Gave me and my family some OVO clothing. BEST DAY EVER. NO LIE. @champagnepapi LOVE YOU!"

Drake would later dedicate his latest album Views to the special fan. "This body of work is dedicated to Megan Flores," he said above the credits for the album's opener, "Keep The Family Close." "I pray for your well-being every day."

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Megan's family during this difficult time.
