Social media, especially Instagram, is where many of us and celebrities go to showcase the best aspects of life...most likely touched up and filtered.

However, while many posts can be inspiring, some can be controversial and even dangerous. Kids, it's best to not try these five things at home.

1. Victoria Beckham's leg pose: The fashion designer and Spice Girls singer likes to show off her flexibility in high heels...if you have none (flexibility, that is), it's best to avoid the pain. Damn, it hurts just looking.

Speaking of which...

2. ...basically anything Hilaria Baldwin does: Alec Baldwin's wife is an experienced yoga instructor. If you are not and if you do this...

1 month pregnant to 5.5 months! This body is transforming! People ask me all the time what is ok and not ok to do while pregnant. This depends on many factors: 1. Listening to your body and good self communication. This goes two ways: not doing too much, but not doing too little. This is a seemingly difficult balance to discover, but with practice, you get out of your mind and so in tune with your body. 2. Good communication with your doctor. I LOVE my doctor and have regular appointments with him to check in and get opinions on how the baby and I are growing and progressing. I trust him and he is my total guru. 3. Being aware of your starting point and your capabilities. I have been doing yoga and exercise for a long time, so I can continue while I'm pregnant. I NEVER do anything I don't completely trust myself with. It just isn't worth it. I definitely slow down as my pregnancy progresses. But it is so important to know that you are not all of a sudden broken or ill. You are still a strong body that is going through an incredible transformation to make another body. Need to keep your strength up! 4. It's about respecting the process. You never want to push yourself too much while pregnant--or not pregnant for that matter. When I find out I'm pregnant, it's a slowing down process that ends when I give birth and then starts to speed up again shortly after. Little by little, slow and steady always wins. So: feel it out, check in with a pro, discover if it is your mind holding you back or your body saying it's too much, and keep it up intelligently. The more you can stay you while pregnant, the faster you rebound. #366daysoflivingclearly #HilariaLCM

Or—holy crap!—this...

...you may end up hurting yourself.

(And she's pregnant with her and Alec's third child, too! If you are also expecting a baby, it would be best to consult with your doctor before attempting such physical activity.)

3. Basically anything Steve-O does: The Jackass star and daredevil also uses Instagram to showcase some of his wild stunts, which include placing a poisonous spider on a man's cheek, climbing onto the top of a boat...

We found out this spider is poisonous AFTER filming this. Ha! What can I say, I'm a WB... A Wildboy.

4. Stripping down for the camera: Many celebs, including Miley CyrusJustin Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski, have posted naked or nearly naked photos of themselves on Instagram over the years.

Not the best idea, for many obvious reasons. Also, note that what you post online may last forever.

5. Promoting drug use: Cyrus, Rihanna and Chris Brown are among several celebs who have posted on Instagram pics of themselves with joints or blunts.

While it's not confirmed that they actually contained pot or other (federally) illegal or controversial substances, it's not the most positive message to send to fans, especially younger ones.
