President Obama's two young daughters aren't so young any more!
Malia Obama, 17, and Sasha Obama, 15, touched down at the Marrakesh International Airport in Morocco on Tuesday night with the First Lady, Michelle Obama.
The Obama women are visiting Morocco as a part of Michelle's Let Girls Learn initiative. Upon their arrival, they were greeted by King Mohammed VI's wife, Moroccan Princess Lalla Salma, and later that evening Malia and Sasha supported their mother as she participated in a CNN-moderated panel alongside Meryl Streep and Freida Pinto to speak to adolescent girls about the challenges they face in getting a quality education.
The girls looked incredibly mature and grown up throughout the visit—from the way they composed themselves to their outfit choices.
Coming off their flight, Michelle and Sasha opted for long-sleeved printed midi-dresses with heels, while Malia went for a more fitted dress with a pin-striped blazer. Then, for the Iftar dinner at the King Palace, they each wore gorgeous, printed dresses symbolic of the Moroccan culture.
The girls recently took a step toward a new chapter, attending their first state dinner at the White House for the prime minister of Canada in March. They looked stunning in designer ballgowns and even chatted it up with the likes of Ryan Reynolds.
Looks like they're willing and ready to take on more responsibilities in the White House!
