Margot Robbie just outed herself as a major Harry Potter fan.

The actress appeared on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday and was shocked when one of her friends sent in a photo from her teen years. "I don't think I'd even recognize you," host Jimmy Kimmel said of the picture, which Robbie described as "literally the most embarrassing photo of my whole life." The shot was taken on her 13th birthday. "I'm drinking a cup of tea. I'm in bed. I'm clearly really enjoying myself, reading Harry Potter," the 25-year-old actress explained. "I have braces, which I had for two years. I was really into slicking my hair back—God knows why—and I'm wearing glasses, which I didn't actually need. I have 20/20 vision and I lied to get glasses so I could look like Harry Potter. They're not even cool ones. They're, like, ugly glasses." Ironically, Robbie lied to get them. "I went to the optometrist and I was like, 'I can't see that. Ow! My eyes hurt!'" she said. "My mom's like, 'Do you really need glasses?' I was like, 'Yes, I do!'"

This weekend, on July 2, the Australian actress will celebrate her 26th birthday. It won't be Harry Potter-themed, however. "We're going to have a little Hawaiian luau, because why the hell not?" Robbie said. "We're going to go all out—coconut bras and grass skirts for the boys."

Robbie makes a big deal out of birthdays. For example, when she turned 24 on the set of The Legend of Tarzan (in theaters this weekend), she threw a 24-hour party. "It's what I imagine it's like to do a marathon, but in the drinking realm," she joked. "We started at 9 a.m. We were in our courtyard and we had a champagne breakfast; it was actually really nice. We broke it up with costume changes so that everyone could keep going. We started off with a Western theme, so a lot of cowboys running around." Robbie and her friends played games at London's Hyde Park before chowing down on burgers at Five Guys. "The next place was Under the Sea-themed," she said. "There's this wicked karaoke bar in London called Bunga Bunga, and then it's got a bar next to it called Cocobananas. It was really fun!" After hitting up "progressively filthier and filthier bars," they returned to home "and popped another bottle of champagne" at 9 a.m.

The birthday marathon was "absolutely exhausting," the actress said, "but really rewarding when you make it to the finish line and you all look at each other like, 'We did it. We did it.'"

Robbie celebrated her 25th birthday in 2015 on the set of Suicide Squad. "It's not a bad place to have your birthday, for sure, but it just so happened that what we were shooting that day is the scene where I'm getting dressed into my [Harley Quinn] costume, so I was really worried about having to be taking a top off and on in the scene—in my birthday suit on my birthday," the actress joked. "At lunchtime they surprised me with this ginormous cake, and I was like, 'I'm holding out until I get this scene over and done with. I'm trying not to eat badly until this scene's done.' So, I wait and they kept pushing the scene until like 6 p.m. at night and I was like, 'You know what? The scene's not happening today. I'm just going to eat this whole damn cake right now.' We sat there and ate the cake like, 'Yeah, this is the best birthday ever.' And then they're like, 'Ready for you on set.' And I was like, 'I just ate a whole cake.' I was obviously self-conscious, so I was like, 'They can see the cake in my stomach. Oh, my God! But I'm sure it was fine.'"

Kimmel joked, "That'll be a fun little Easter egg for people to look for!"
