Bristol Palin is celebrating her husband and all the dads this Father's Day weekend.
In a new Instagram shared Sunday morning, the newlywed praised Dakota Meyer and shared how much he has helped the family.
"Happy Father's Day!! Thank you for putting our family first, working so hard, and giving our kids the most solid foundation," she shared on social media while posing with her two children. "We love you soo, so much."
If you're curious to find out why we can't see both of Bristol's kids clearly in the post, she quickly explained that she is trying to keep their lives a bit more private.
"As much as I want to show off my kids, there's been too many creeps recently, so I'm trying to keep them safe by not posting pictures of them," she wrote. "So hard but their safety is our no. 1 priority!!)."
The Father's Day celebration comes less than two weeks after the couple announced they were secretly married. Shortly after the news broke, Sarah Palin and Todd Palin congratulated the pair on their new relationship status.
"All our families' hearts are filled with love for Dakota, Bristol, Tripp, and Sailor Grace," the couple said in a statement posted onto Facebook. "It's been a rewarding and interesting ride this past year—but these two sure do love an adventure! As their biggest supporters, we're stratospherically happy it's happened, amidst running a little late!"
The post continued, "Like they said, the foundation of their new life together is built with hard work and God's grace, so they can't go wrong—their future is as bright as Alaska's midnight sun."
