For the Taylor Swift fandom, it's been an emotional roller coaster ride the past few weeks.

Ever since they found out the news about her split from Calvin Harris, a man that many a Swifty felt was finally in a prime position to be her one and only, they've been barreling downhill at lightning speed. Fans have tried to come to grips with how this breakup could have happened as the roller coaster car simply picked up speed. And then bam!

Tom Hiddleston jumps onto the tracks.

And now everybody's just here attempting to make sense of it all. When did this happen? Is it true love? Does this mean that we're not going to get a Calvin Harris-themed breakup album?

And of course the public knows just where to go during times of uncertainty: Twitter. Fans everywhere have been taking to social media to express their feelings—feelings that run the gamut of every emotion under the sun.

Some people are simply in awe of Swift's ability to recover from what was surely a tough split from Calvin, writing things like "Taylor Swift moves faster than me when I hear the microwave ding, and that's pretty dang fast."

Some people are taking the opportunity to flex their Marvel knowledge: "Taylor Swift is the sixth infinity stone" or "Damn can't wait for the exclusive Taylor Swift track that's gonna play over the credits of Thor: Ragnarok."

And others still just can't get enough of the sight of Swift and Hiddleston in full L.L. Bean regalia on a rocky seaside expanse. "The real question is, why are you wearing loafers to the beach, Taylor Swift?"

These are all fine, fine points, of which we implore you to set aside some time and read through every single Tweet below. You are all of us, Twitter.
