Could Olivia Pope handle a baby?
We can't really picture her raising a kid at all without the help of a lot of nannies, let alone amidst the busy and occasionally very dangerous world of politics. And according to Kerry Washington, the writers feel the same way because there are no plans to write the actress' second pregnancy into the storyline.
"As far as I know, we're going to be hiding things," she told E! News at this weekend's Sag-Aftra Foundation Golf Classic. "But stay tuned!
As sources confirmed to E! News back in early May, Washington and husband Nnamdi Asomugha are expecting their second child. The pair welcomed daughter Isabella in April of 2014, around the end of Scandal's third season.
Given the fact that ABC has pushed Scandal's season six premiere to midseason, the show might not have to address the baby bump on screen at all. In season three, props and clever camera angles were used to disguise the bump, many of which can be found in this gallery.
Scandal's move to midseason also means the temporary end of TGIT, as the new drama Notorious will be taking Olivia Pope's spot in between Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder when the TV season starts back up this fall.
