We remember when Facebook was only for college students! Now the tides have turned, and Snapchat is the queen bee of the social scene. Forget Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, and even Facebook Messenger. They've all been blown out of the water by SnapChat. This inevitable news comes from an analytic app called App Annie, says Business Insider. Must have been all those flower crowns and face swaps that won everybody over.
The only thing Snapchat has yet to beat out is the good old, rock solid Facebook app. In other words, aside from Facebook, people in the states are spending more time on Snapchat that on any other social app. Is this the beginning of the end for our beloved Instagram? Say it ain't so! Piper Jaffray's semi-annual survey determined out of 6,500 US teens, the numbers are falling when it comes to teenagers considering it their favorite social network. Snapchat they found, has climbed to the top of their preference list. To each his own!
