Calvin Harris is back to work and in party mode following his breakup with Taylor Swift and a car crash that spurred him to cancel gigs.
The 32-year-old Scottish DJ and music producer this weekend returned to Las Vegas, where he often has gigs. He performed at the Omnia nightclub at Caesars Palace Friday and spun records Saturday at the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino as scores of partygoers, including bikini-clad women, danced in the hot sun.
He appeared to be all business, though, concentrating on his music as a security guard stood near him.
Many party goers posted clips of Harris inside the DJ booth at both venues.
"My name is Calvin Harris," he told the crowd at Omnia. "You feelin' good?"
Earlier on Saturday, Harris hung out with singer Frank Ocean in Malibu.
Harris' car accident took place two weeks ago in Los Angeles. He was slightly injured in the crash, in which he was a passenger. He later canceled several of his shows to recover. Harris was seen earlier Friday leaving a Beverly Hills medical facility and was all smiles.
The crash came days before Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, and Swift split after dating for about 15 months, during which she occasionally attended his DJ gigs. The two have addressed the breakup once, on Twitter last week. Harris said, "The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect." Swift retweeted him.
A source told E! News Harris was the one who ended the relationship, saying, "Adam has been bored for a while and was hoping the spark would come back but it hasn't" and that "friends were even surprised it lasted this long because of the lack of chemistry."
Another source close to Swift said the singer "was really disappointed in Calvin and felt like he wasn't there for her" and that "she felt like he wasn't taking it seriously enough and wouldn't come through for her when she needed him most."
