Things are going to stay UnReal for Lifetime. The network has renewed its reality dating drama for a third season before the second season even debuted. The series, which stars Constance Zimmer and Shiri Appleby, will return for a 10-episode third season in 2017.

"UnReal is that rare series that redefines a network. It not only reflects culture, but pushes culture forward by creating television's first female antihero," Liz Gateley, executive vice president and head of programming at Lifetime, said in a statement. "The overwhelming fan and critical reaction set the bar incredibly high, but the writers and executive producing team, coupled with the outstanding performances by Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer, have taken the second season to even greater creative heights. We are thrilled about the new ground we will break with season three while continuing our work with the incredible A+E Studios as we together build Lifetime's Fempire."

UnReal has received a Peabody Award, an AFI honor as Television Program of the Year and a Critic's Choice Award for Zimmer's performance as a producer behind the scenes of a reality dating series that is quite like The Bachelor. Season one averaged 3.7 million viewers per episode across all platforms. The series hails from Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro.

Craig Bierko, Josh Kelly, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Darius Hill also star in the series.

Season two premieres on Monday, June 6 at 10 p.m. ET.
