Superheroes are officially taking over the CW.

With Supergirl's upcoming move to the network from CBS, the CW will be home to four different DC superhero shows, all taking place in the same-ish universe. A four-way crossover between The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl is imminent, according to CW president Mark Pedowitz, and the many stars of the four series are both excited and intrigued, according to what they told us at the CW's Upfront event in NYC.

"Four show crossover, yes!" Legends star Victor Garber tells E! News in the video above. "It's a theoretically great idea. Hard to do, but I'm up for it."

"I'm glad I don't have to plan it all, because...mind-boggling!" says Brandon Routh. "Mind-boggling" is a pretty accurate way to describe the intricate ways the plots of all four shows are going to have to fit together.

While The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow have all staged enough mini crossovers so far to have gotten the general idea of how it works, Supergirl star Melissa Benoist is still figuring it all out.

"How does that happen?" she asks. "I always wondered how Grant did it, because it seemed like he would be in three places at once, on three shows. I don't know what's going to happen to me!"

Her costar, Mehcad Brooks, on the other hand, thought he had some idea.

"Here's the thing—there's so many characters, each person's going to have one line of dialogue, like 'Hi, I'm Jimmy Olsen, goodbye.'"

Watch: Superheroes Want to Share the Screen With Who?!

As for who they'd like to work with in the crossover, everyone's pretty excited to get to share screentime with some new faces.

"I still haven't been on screen with Victor Garber, and that's bulls--t," Arrow star Stephen Amell tells us.

"I'd love to see White Canary and Killer Frost," Legends star Caity Lotz says. "I love Danielle [Panabaker], so that would be a fun one, and I feel like Sara Lance and Iris West should be friends."

"Obviously Supergirl would be fun and ironic and funny," former Superman Routh tells us, and Victor Garber agrees. "I'd kind of like to have Supergirl fly me around."

Mehcad Brooks, meanwhile, can't wait to work with Katie Cassidy, whose character Laurel Lance was killed off of Arrow just a few episodes ago. Could that mean that Cassidy could return to the fold as Laurel, or perhaps as her alter ego, Black Siren?

As Benoist says, "the sky's the limit here," so perhaps anything is possible!

The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl all return to the CW this fall.
