Imgur"This hurts my brain..." reads the caption of the Imgur photo above. If you feel the same way, you're not alone. Many Internet brains are in pain (including ours) after trying to decide who is hugging who in this viral photo. So far, commenters have come up with a number of explanations. One user said, "Actually it looks like he has a sweater hanging out of his shorts. The arms are what looks like legs." What you're saying is, this isn't even a photo of two people!? Mind. Blown. Another theory insists, "His left leg goes through her right leg. That patch on his back looks like a hand. I'm not buying the different colored shorts." Hmm. In our opinion, this two-toned shorts idea makes the most sense. One user mentioned, "His shorts are two colors. White in the middle, black on the outside." Genius!
That way, the other legs are mostly hidden behind the two-toned shorts, meaning we can't even see the other huggers shorts in the photo at all. That's what we think, and we're sticking to it. Most commenters made a fuss about the excruciating pain this image has caused their brain and eyeballs, but if you just take a moment, you can surely find the answers you're looking for. Who knows, we still may be wrong, but we're not going back on our word.
