Many actors and actresses have revealed the funny and random jobs they had before making it big, but nothing beats Leslie Jones' job before landing on Saturday Night Live.

Appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday, Jones, Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon, otherwise known as the cast of the Ghostbusters reboot, all talk about some of their earlier, pre-Hollywood work. While their jobs certainly ran the gamut, nothing came as more of a surprise than Jones': She was a telemarketer for Scientology.

"Uh yeah...they kind of still don't know that I'm not Scientologist," she confesses. "Thanks for blowing my cover, Ellen."

Her cast mates look as equally surprised as the afternoon talk show host, but Jones gives an explanation for holding the job. "I lived in Glendale. I needed to pay the rent and it was a very easy interview," she shares. "I just acted crazy!"

"Now you're in trouble," Ellen jokes.

Given the controversy surrounding the Church of Scientology, Jones apologizes not only for being dishonest but also for sharing some information surrounding the secretive organization. "I'm sorry, Scientologists, for revealing things," she says, looking frightened.

McKinnon reveals that she used to be an umpire for a little league softball team, but even Wiig seemed dubious upon hearing that job. "I should've brushed up on the rules," McKinnon confesses, admitting that she made some "bad calls".

But maybe it was Bridesmaids star Wiig who had the best early career. "I was an umpire for a Scientology baseball team," she quips.
