The Bachelorette is made up of blood, sweat and tears. Literally.

After Monday night's two-hour season premiere, which found JoJo Fletcher meeting her 26 suitors, ABC released a promo teasing the rest of the season, and man, we hope you're strapped in tight because we are clearly in for a bumpy and bloody ride. Come on, you know it's going to be a crazy season when host Chris Harrison has to step in to tell one of the guys everyone in the house is "scared" for their lives.

Of course, there's some kissing, exotic adventures and a whole lot of guys telling JoJo they love her in there, too, but is that really as fun as all the mayhem?

And it seems like there will be three controversial guys in the house this season: Jordan Rodgers, a retired NFL player who is the brother of football superstar Aaron Rodgers, with the guys questioning why he's really there ("slick, smooth operator stuff"), and another one saying, "The best thing about Jordan? His brother. The worst thing about Jordan? He's not his brother." Oh snap!

The next trouble-maker? Robbie, who may or may not have a girlfriend back home. But the clear villain of the season is Chad, who "has an ability to morph when he's with JoJo," but is seen threatening several of the guys ("You think I won't go out of my way to come to your house?" Chills!), punching a door and getting a stern talking to from Chris Harrison.

"There's been some violence, some threats of violence, guys are scared for their lives," he tells a shirtless Chad. Cue James Taylor (not that singer-songwriter but also a singer-songwriter) all bloodied, an ambulance being called and JoJo hysterically crying.

Have you missed this show as much as we have?

The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
