Nostalgia alert!

1980s pop star Tiffany and her New Kids on the Block band member ex-boyfriend Jonathan Knight reunited Thursday evening for the first time in awhile. Knight honored the nostalgic moment with a cute selfie on Instagram. "It's been sooooooo long. Excited to be here tonight and see the amazing @tiff_pop do what she does best!!!" the 47-year-old singer captioned the pic.

The former couple took the pic before Tiffany took the stage at her concert in New York City. The two dated when they were just teenagers in the 1980s but eventually called it quits. While appearing on Watch What Happens Live in 2011, Tiffany was asked whether she had romanced a NKOTB member and she accidentally let a secret slip.

"The quiet one. The shy one. He became gay later," Tiffany blurted out. "I didn't do it! But he's fabulous."

Cohen followed up by asking Tiffany if she "turned" Knight. "No. See, I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did, but no," she said. "Now looking back to when we were dating, he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to...And he was fabulous. He's an awesome person."

The only problem was Knight hadn't yet publicly revealed his sexual orientation. Tiffany turned to Twitter to backtrack her comments. "Really didn't know that was the wrong thing to say. Never meant to hurt Jon."

He didn't seem too upset about the ordeal, as he responded, "I'm so devastated...How can I not remember getting facials??????"

If that weren't enough of a consolation, Knight private messaged his ex and reassured her once again that it was really OK. "Tiff, please don't lose any sleep over it! I know you weren't being mean and I found it to be funny!" he wrote.

Five years after the big slip, it's clear these two have no resentment about the ordeal.
