InstagramToday is a special day for Ciara...it's her baby boy's 2nd birthday!
The singer took to Instagram early this morning to kick off baby Future Zahir Wilburn's celebrations by sharing an adorable black and white photo, holding him in her lap as he hugs her close. Ciara's boyfriend, Russell Wilson, also couldn't help but gush about the little boy, commenting on the photo about the "pure joy" they both bring to his life.
In fact, a source tells E! News, "Ciara, Wilson and baby Future are all together for baby Future's birthday. Wilson got Baby Future many birthday presents today. They both are are spoiling baby future, [and] they have many activities planned for the day."
One of those activities happened to be making the little one some Mickey Mouse pancakes. Ciara shared a video of the cooking experience, admitting it's a little difficult, but she was determined to do it for her son.
"Trying To Make Mickey Mouse Pancakes For Juicy Mans Birthday!" she captioned the Instagram vid. "They Weren't Perfect, But He Approved... The Big 2!"
Future—who has been at odds in court with Ciara throughout a nasty custody battle—also made it a point to shares some messages for his son on social media.
Earlier today, he took to Twitter to write, "Baby Future made 2 today...Love u Son." He also shared a photo on Instagram of the toddler playing on the piano.
"The gifted," he captioned the pic. "Face every challenge with confidence..To kno u is too love u forever my son my heart my inspiration!! Happy 2nd born day #BabyFuture."
