Hilary Duff's album might have been Metamorphosis, but it's the cast of Laguna Beach who has transformed the most.

The hit reality TV show opened with Duff's "Come Clean," and now Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Taylor Cole, Trey Phillips, Christina Sinclair, Loren Polster and Morgan Smith are back to give a dramatic reading of the hit tune that introduced Laguna Beach week after week. So dramatic, in fact, that tears will be shed, umbrellas will be opened and memories will come flooding through the gates.

"Let's go back," Duff sings, and go back we shall.

"Back to the beginning," says Polster, who looks out longingly into the distance. We wish we could go back, too, Polster.

But it's Trey who brings the reading to the next level with interpretive dance moves, reflective stars and seemingly genuine emotion. "Back to when the earth—the sun—the stars—all aligned," he says.

"'Cause perfect didn't feel so perfect," Alex and Christina continue, and little did they know they were more right than they could have ever expected.

"Trying to fit a square into a circle in my life," Jason continues, incorrectly. "Trying to fit a circle into a square...s--t!"

"Trying to fit a square into a circle was my life," say Taylor and Morgan, finally getting Duff's tricky lyric down.

"I defy!" says Polster, probably recalling his party days on the show.

It only took one mention of defiance to spark some deeply rooted emotions, as the cast starts to really rev up their engines from hear on out. Duff, you better watch out, because this group is coming for you.

"Let the RAIN. FALL. DOWN.," Trey begins to scream, ultimately causing Polster to be moved to tears—not before their "sanity" gets washed away by the rain (nevermind the fact that it barely rains in Southern California...).

"I want to SCREAM!" they all say—yes, you guessed it—while doing their best to scream at a lower volume because no one wants to get a violation for disturbing the peace.

Cue the umbrellas, everyone, because they're letting that rain fall down and coming clean.
