Gordon Ramsay's wife has a bun in the oven.
The Hell's Kitchen star announced on CBS' The Late Late Show Thursday that he and Tana Ramsay are expecting their fifth child together—14 years after welcoming their last. Gordon and Tana are the proud parents of Megan Ramsay, 17, twins Jack Ramsay and Holly Ramsay, 16, and Matilda Ramsay, 14. "You have four teenagers in the house. That's a lot of hormones," host James Corden reminded the famous chef. "Are you and Tana surviving that?" Gordon replied, "[I have] three girls and a boy." After a pause, he added, "And one more on the way!"
James couldn't believe it.
"No! Congratulations!" he said before giving Gordon a hug. "Oh, my gosh!"
"I know!" Gordon, 49, admitted. "I'm a little bit nervous."
Tana is due to give birth in September, he added. Gordon hinted that he would prefer to have another boy, but added, "Obviously, I'm happy with a girl." The biggest problem with having four daughters, he explained, is that there will be "four weddings, four Sweet Sixteens, four boyfriends"—all things he'd rather not think about. As for Tana, he told James, "She's all good."
James and Tana have been married since 1996.
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m.
