Kim Kardashian is in vogue again.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star looks understated in neutrals for Vogue Australia's June issue—her first magazine cover since giving birth to son Saint West in December. Styled by fashion director Christine Centenara and shot by Lachlan Bailey, the shoot shows a softer side of the fashionable reality star—even if she is modeling 10 custom corsets for the fashion bible. In the feature article, Kim praises her mother, Kris Jenner, for being able to do it all. "I want to live her life and be successful, work hard and still have so many kids—and still take care of everyone else," she says, adding that her late father, Robert Kardashian, is "for sure" her hero.
Kim has no doubt made her parents proud, with her reality show and various business ventures. But if she weren't famous, she admits, "I would be a forensic investigator and live a normal life."
This isn't the first time Kim has expressed her desire to get involved in forensic science. In fact, in 2014, she told Time Out Britain, "I've literally asked attorneys to intern on a case—a big murder trial. I know I can help solve it. I'm obsessed with murders. I don't really understand why someone would kill someone. I just feel so sad for people." Though the E! reality star told LOVE magazine the following year that she would "love" to be a makeup artist, she admitted, "What I really want to be is a forensic investigator. I am obsessed with murders and dead bodies."
Kim has put her spy skills to the test before on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. During the show's eighth season in 2010, she convinced a private investigator to let her help track down a missing Miami teenager. "I have this sick, twisted fascination with investigating," she said in a confessional. "If I wasn't doing what I'm going now, I'd be a crime scene investigator." In Season 10, she put her skills to the test amid a rising theft problem at DASH's New York City location. "I've always loved investigating," she explained in another confessional. "I am the best spy; I can figure anything out."
