While some things were different this Mother's Day, Teresa Giudice still had plenty of reasons to celebrate this Sunday.
As her husband Joe Giudice remains in prison, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star was able to mark the holiday with her daughters and extended family.
In several Instagrams posted Sunday evening, fans got a taste of the heartfelt notes and gifts Teresa received from her kids.
"My mom is the best mom in the whole world. One reason is that she is kind because she brings me what I need to school," Audriana wrote in a hand-made card. "Another reason is that she is nice because she makes me breakfast. She is terrific because she gets me Pokemon and Barbies."
The note continued, "Also, another reason is that she is awesome because she lets me do anything I want….And the last reason is that she is loving."
Milania decided to go big with Hershey's chocolate and drawings next to her note. And as an added twist, her card titled "So Blessed by You, Mom" included a poem partially visible on Instagram.
"A mother who always cares," the note began. "A mother who's always there."
Putting gifts aside, everyone in the family was able to enjoy homemade pizza personally requested by Gabriella. There even was some pool time in New Jersey Sunday afternoon.
"Happy Mother's Day to my best friend!" Gia wrote on Instagram. "Thank you for always being by my side and never failing to make me smile! I love you."
While Teresa has her hands full raising four kids on her own, the reality star is still making time for herself. As fans prepare for a new season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa remains focused on a variety of goals including her desire to become a yoga teacher.
"I want to come out with my own yoga DVD tape, my own yoga line," she explained in her book Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again. "If you put out what you want, sometimes you get it. Never say, 'I can't do that,' because then you're already bringing yourself down."
