Kesha is having her voice heard one powerful performance at a time.

Less than three weeks after surprising fans at the Coachella Music Festival, the singer stepped out at The Humane Society of the United States Los Angeles Gala where she delivered a powerful rendition of the song "Til It Happens to You."

Before the music started playing, Kesha teared up and had to take a couple of deep breaths just as the night's honoree Diane Warren started to play the piano. "I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child [and] animal that has ever been abused," Kesha said before she started to sing.

During the performance, photos and video of caged farm animals played on a big screen at the back of the stage as she sang. Kesha ultimately received a standing ovation as she hugged Diane. "That's was so beautiful," Zendaya said as she hugged Kesha when she came off stage.

The Oscar-nominated song, co-written by Lady Gaga and Diane, was first featured in The Hunting Ground, a documentary about sexual assaults that occur on college campuses.

Many fans know that Kesha finds herself is in the middle of an ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke. While the court proceedings make it more difficult for the singer to make new music, it was recently announced that she will join Diplo's Mad Decent Block Party summer tour on select nights.

"F-- YEA! I'm playing the Mad Decent Block Party this summer #MDBP16 #madrespect," Kesha added on Twitter.

As for the Humane Society's star-studded gala Saturday night, guests including Ian Somerhalder, Nikki Reed, Riley Keough and Kate Mara were on-hand to show their support for the charity that helps celebrate and protect all animals.
