Jennifer Lopez released the music video for "Ain't Your Mama" Friday morning, and we can't get over her fashion. The video spans several decades starting in the 1950s to present day, and she perfectly captures each era by representing its culture and its fashion.

In the 1950s, J. Lo plays a doting wife who caters to her husband's needs. But after hearing a newscaster (also played by Lopez) talk about becoming more empowered, she decides to ditch her duties. For these scenes, Lopez wears a vintage purple and green floral dress by James Galanos and pumps by Sophia Webster. While scrubbing the floor, Lopez wears the same blond wig and green bow but changes into a green and white-checkered dress and pink heels. Hello, I Love Lucy.

Fast forward to the 1960s and Lopez channels Mad Men's Betty Draper with her peach-colored dress, designed by Mark Zunino and metal broach. She pairs her timely look with Louis Vuitton heels and cat-eye glasses.

During the 1970s, Lopez finds herself working an assembly line in all-denim outfit. The button down is a Current/Elliott design while the jeans are Paige.

Lopez's outfit in the '80s totally gave us Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead and Working Girl vibes. She works as a seemingly successful executive—until she gets shut out of a meeting for being a woman. She wears a purple Thierry Mugler skirt suit and Tamara Mellon shoes.

For the final, modern day sequence, Lopez busts out her insane dance skills. Wearing a bodysuit and leggings by Naked Wardrobe, Lopez leads a group of backup dancers in an intensely choreographed sequence. How she does it in those boots, which are Rihanna for Manolo Blahnik (that retail for a cool $4,000), on top of it all is wild. Fun fact about those shoes—Rihanna gave them to her personally!
