Say hello to little Ashe Olson Meyers!

Seth Meyers shared the first picture of his newborn son with Today viewers Thursday morning. The host of NBC's Late Night and his wife, assistant district attorney Alexi Meyers, welcomed their beautiful baby boy six weeks ago, and like many new parents, sleepless nights have become the norm—but not just because of Ashe's late-night cries. "I haven't been great as far as being an assistant to my wife, in that the baby will wake up a couple times in the middle of the night and then I've been adding a third wake-up because I have night terrors about where the baby is," the first-time father told Today's Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. "I've been waking up, grabbing my wife's face and saying, 'I don't know where the baby is.' Then I just go back to sleep."

Additional wake-ups aside, fatherhood has been "good" so far, according to Seth. "It's fantastic. Your life completely changes, but it changes so much less than the mother's life changes. Mine's pretty similar except there's a baby at home in the morning and at night, but I still go to work."

Late Night might keep him busy, but fatherhood is a full-time job—not that Seth is complaining. The host has even come to love the stinky side of being a dad. "I am changing diapers," he said while sipping a glass of white wine. "That I enjoy more than I thought I would in that there's a beginning, a middle and an end. When the baby is crying and you can't communicate with it, then I'm frustrated. At least with the diaper, I know that it started dirty and now it's clean."

"Are you a nurturer by nature?" Kathie Lee asked.

Seth smiled and replied, "I think I am a nurturer by nature, yeah."

Then, he quipped, "Nurture by Nature was the name of my rap group in high school."

Hopefully Ashe inherits his father's quick wit.

(E! and NBC are both members of the NBCUniversal family.)
