Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a little brother and his name is Marvin the Hamster.

During a medieval-themed playground tour with school children on Wednesday, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton revealed the name of her children's secret furry friend. Her 1-year-old daughter is particularly a fan.

"[She] said she had a hamster, and [Princess] Charlotte really likes it because the whiskers always tickle her face" 9-year-old Darcey said of her conversation with the royal mother of two.

While her children may be enamored with the littlest member of the royal family, other young girls and boys were equally intrigued by the royal during her playground visit.

One child asked the chairman of the Historic Royal Palaces, Rupert Gavin, "Who's that?" while spotting her on the visit. After sharing her name, the child approached Middleton.

"Then the child said, 'Ooh, are you the princess?' " Gavin described.

She responded, "Just call me Kate."

Can we be on a first name basis with the Duchess of Cambridge, too?
