It seems like no one stays dead on TV these days.

After Game of Thrones' miraculous (but oh so expected) resurrection of Jon Snow, you might be wondering which dearly departed character is next to return to the land of the living. Well, the folks at Jimmy Kimmel Live! seem to have the inside scoop on which show is following the HBO hit's lead.

"For those who watch Game of Thrones, the resurrection of Jon Snow was a big deal. It resonated in the Game of Thrones community and now, as is the custom, other television shows are following suit," the comedian said before launching into a promo teasing the return of Patrick Dempsey to Grey's Anatomy thanks to a particular red woman who's new to the hospital.

"It's been a year since we said goodbye, but a new face in the hospital is about to change everything," the narrator solemnly explains. "McDreamy is back!" To see just how Melisandre does it, be sure to press play on the video above.

While McDreamy's resurrection is a fake (we think, but who really knows these days), Jon Snow's certainly was the real deal. Though fans might have suspected that Kit Harington's character wasn't gone for good, everyone at Game of Thrones managed to keep their poker faces on for the better part of a year, insisting that "dead is dead is dead" to the press and giving the character a nickname on set and in scripts.

Are you still hoping Melisandre (or Shonda Rhimes) might work their magic and bring Derek back? Or is this a case where you're OK with the finality of death? Sound off in the comments below!

Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on ABC, while Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
