It's safe to say The Good Wife fans out there are having a hard time embracing the end of the show's seven-year run, including its biggest fans: Jeffrey Dean Morgan's mom.
"She's none too pleased," Morgan told E! News when we visited the set while they were filming their penultimate episode. "She's real sad. I talked to her on the phone…a couple of days ago and she's all kinds of upset and still, by the way, digging for clues. ‘What's going to happen now?'"
But Morgan didn't know the ending at that point and something tells us he would've kept dear old mom in the dark anyway. After all, does any fan truly want to know the ending rather than experience it? Don't answer that.
Morgan joined The Good Wife for its seventh and final season as Jason Carouse, a new investigator Alicia (Julianna Margulies) hires while out on her own and subsequently brings him into the Lockhart/Agos world…and falls for him. The two began a relationship that was purely sexual…at first. But viewers last saw Jason telling Alicia he wants to be with her, but he can't be tethered to one place.
