The Late Late Show host is gearing up for another musical drive around Los Angeles—this time with none other than Gwen Stefani. The next installment of Corden's immensely popular Carpool Karaoke series will air during the CBS late night series' Wednesday, May 4 episode, E! News can exclusively report. Expect a smattering of current singles like "Make Me Like You" and "Misery" mixed in with some of the biggest hits from her solo career and her time as No Doubt frontwoman, as well as a surprising cover or two. While we're not sure anything will ever top Adele spitting Nicki Minaj's "Monster" verse like a boss, we can't wait to see what Gwen has up her sleeve!
Stefani's been keeping busy as of late. Aside from being the latest singer to ride shotgun with the late night host, the Voice coach just released her third solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like—her first No. 1 album on the Billboard charts. To support her hit album, she just announced she'll be hitting the road this summer with former duet partner Eve on the This Is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, which kicks off July 12 in Mansfield, Massachusetts. She's also become a tabloid fixture thanks to her puppy love relationship with her Voice co-star Blake Shelton. Lady's dance card is full at the moment.
The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke has become a massive success for Corden, seeing superstars from Mariah Carey to Justin Bieber to Stevie Wonder join the host for a musical trip down memory lane. The segment earned the series a primetime special in March with none other than Jennifer Lopez as Corden's guest. Following Stefani's turn this week, fans can look forward to upcoming appearances from Selena Gomez and touring buddies Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas.
