TV's Top Couple 2016 has come to an end. And we have a winner!

We started out with 64 of your favorite TV couples and after six rounds and millions of votes, the final round came down to Magnus and Alec of Shadowhunters vs. Clarke and Lexa of The 100—two equally deserving LGBT couples with equally dedicated fanbases.

The count was incredibly close for most of the weekend, but in the last few hours of the poll, one couple pulled ahead and won with 52% of the vote.

Congratulations to...

Clexa!

It took a while for Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) love to blossom last season of The 100. When she first met Clarke, Lexa believed that love was a weakness she couldn't afford, and Clarke helped her change her mind. They eventually shared a kiss, just before Lexa betrayed Clarke in order to protect her own people.

Clarke eventually forgave Lexa and they reconciled, but their story on The 100 sadly came to an end earlier this season when Lexa died after being hit by a stray bullet.

While Lexa may no longer be on the show, that doesn't mean her love with Clarke is gone. Clearly, Clexa touched the lives of many and will live on forever thanks to fans like you, who not only worked tirelessly to make sure Clexa was named the top TV couple, but who also worked hard to spread information and support the LGBT community through charities like The Trevor Project in the name of Clarke and Lexa.

It's clear that regardless of what happens on the show, Clexa will be forever remembered as two amazing badasses who fell deeply in love and changed the world, and what more could we ask for when it comes to TV's Top Couple?

Congratulations to Clexa fans, and to Malec fans, who also put up an incredible fight. You are all winners, you are all awesome, and thank you for voting!

The 100 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on the CW and Shadowhunters will soon return to Freeform for season two.
