Will Prince William and Prince Harry show up in Star Wars: Episode VIII...and get naughty with Daisy Ridley?

Last week, the royals toured Pinewood Studios near London, where the anticipated sequel to last winter's Star Wars: The Force Awakens is being filmed. On the set, they got to play with lightsaber props and met Ridley, who plays the heroine Rey, John Boyega, who plays the former Stormtrooper Finn, franchise veteran Mark Hamill, aka Jedi master Luke Skywalker, newcomer Benicio Del Toro and other cast and crew.

"When they visited the Star Wars set they spent part of the day shooting a secret scene," a source told E! News. "During what was meant to be a lunch break on the official schedule of the royal tour at Pinewood, they actually sneaked off to Wardrobe and were dressed up as Stormtroopers for a scene with Daisy, John and Benicio."

"I know that one of the Stormtroopers, not sure if William or Harry, was required to pat Daisy's bottom as he walked past her," the source added.

Looks like somebody may feel the epic power of The Force! Good thing Rey doesn't embrace the Dark Side. (Or does she...?)

So will Star Wars: Episode VIII feature two certified princes? The source told E! News they were unsure if William and Harry's scene was filmed for the movie, another project, such as a charity campaign, or just for fun. They added the set was cleared for the occasion, with a skeleton crew enlisted for the job.

"If it's for the film, obviously nothing is going to be decided yet as far as whether it will make the final cut of the film," the source added. "But regardless, William and Harry definitely filmed a short scene dressed as Stormtroopers when they visited."

Disney, which owns production company Lucasfilm, has not commented. Kensington Palace had said the princes made their visit to "recognize the wealth of fantastic British creative talent involved in the production of the Star Wars films." No further details were given.

The Mail on Sunday had reported William and Harry "dressed up in full Stormtrooper gear and filmed a scene in which Rey and Finn infiltrate a secret base. The rebel characters are in a lift with Benicia del Toro's character when a group of Stormtroopers enter—two of whom are William and Harry."

In Star Wars: The Force AwakensDaniel Craig made a cameo as a masked Stormtrooper whose character is manipulated by Rey in a bid to escape.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for release on Dec. 15.
