This is National Administrative Professionals Day done right.
In honor of the holiday, Ellen DeGeneres wanted to do something special for a Warner Bros. employee. "Even though we're on the lot here, there are a lot of people who work who don't get to meet celebrities," she explained on Wednesday's show. "Since Chris Hemsworth plays an administrative professional in the new Ghostbusters movie, I invited him to go surprise some people who work hard—very, very hard—every day."
Cut to footage of Ellen and Chris carefully plotting out their big surprise. "Let's sneak. Duck down, 'cause there's a door. Lower. Lower. Just lower! We don't want them to see you," Ellen told the 6-foot-3 movie star, who did an army crawl. "Lower. Just a little bit lower. OK, let's go."
Chris said it hurts his knees, but Ellen shushed him. "Quieter!"
When they reached one woman's cubicle, her jaw dropped.
"Oh, my!" the lucky lady said. "Are you kidding?"
"No, we're not," Ellen said. "Happy Administrative Professionals Day."
"Oh, my God!" she replied. "This is amazing!"
"We knew that you like Chris because I snoop around at night. I do a lot of cleaning at night," she said as the camera showed pictures of Chris tacked to the woman's cubicle. "He's going to actually take care of you today since you're so used to taking care of other people. So, have a seat. He's going to massage you."
As Chris got to work, he asked, "Any tense areas in particular?"
"Harder? You want oil?" Ellen asked. "What do you want? Anything?"
Anything? "Naked," the woman boldly replied.
"He's married!" Ellen reminded her. The woman knew all about Elsa Pataky, of course. "You have beautiful children, by the way," she told Chris.
"When you say 'Can we get naked?' did you mean me?" Ellen joked.
"Oh, sure! Threesome?" the woman asked.
"OK!" Ellen said, caught off guard. "Wow, you're a little kinky."
It didn't take long for other administrative professionals to gather around their colleague's cubicle. "Keep it down out there!" Ellen teased. "We're trying to do some stuff."
"I'm naked!" the woman shouted. Chris added, "We're all naked!"
A surprise visit wasn't all Ellen and Chris had in store for the woman. This summer, The Ellen DeGeneres Show will fly her to New York City so she can attend the Ghostbusters premiere with Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. "You'll probably stay in Chris' room," Ellen joked. The woman replied, "I don't have to take my husband, right?"
After giving Chris one last hug, she said, "I'm never showering again."
Chris joked, "Me neither!"
