Perhaps Kesha's surprise Coachella performance was only hinting at something bigger to come?

EDM artist Zedd shared a photograph on Instagram today that has fans speculating whether or not these two creatives are cooking something up together. The snapshot shows the 26-year-old music producer (real name Anton Zaslavski) sitting in the studio alongside a mystery person who is not identified.

However, if you look closely, you can see some rainbow-colored tresses, which lead us to one very important question—does this mean Kesha and Zedd are teaming up for a new track?! Let's hope so.

Zedd captioned the picture with the purple crystal ball emoji, which could be deciphered as numerous things (showing us the future, creating magic, sharing his interest in crystal balls).

During the ever-so-popular Coachella music festival this weekend, Kesha, who is still dealing with an ongoing legal battle with Dr. Luke, wowed fans when she joined Zedd on stage where she performed the DJ's hit song "True Colors."

In videos posted onto social media shortly after the performance, the crowd appeared more than excited to see the singer on stage as she showed off her vocals. And while the Los Angeles Times reports that the singer didn't speak to the crowd, perhaps it was the lyrics that did all the talking.

"I won't apologize for the fire in my eyes," she sang. "Let me show you my true colors."

Following her highly publicized legal case against the Sony producer, Kesha received immense support from fellow musicians. In fact, Zedd was one of the many artists to tweet positive messages to the singer after one of her court dates.

"@KeshaRose very very sorry to hear about your whole situation," he wrote. "I'll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help."

Looks like she may have taken him up on that offer.
