Watch: Drew Barrymore Reveals Her Mother's Day Tradition

With Mother's Day right around the corner, Drew Barrymore is gearing up for what is her favorite day of the year.

But instead of letting her two little girls shower her with love, she's doing something for them. Frankie, 2, and Olive, 3, are too little to start getting involved in charity, so their mom gets them involved on Mother's Day. "I do something philanthropic in their honor, and then I write about what I did that day in their names," she told E! News at Safe Kids Day Sunday. "I put it in the box, so now it's stacked with a couple of year's worth."

She continued, "I just thought it would be a nice tradition to create for them."

Even though she turns the annual mom-loving holiday into a day about her kids, Barrymore admitted that she does enjoy herself. "I'll do something fun with the kids," she said of her plan for this year.

Barrymore can next be seen on Bravo's Odd Mom Out, which was created by and stars Jill Kargman, who also happens to be Will Kopelman's sister. The Charlie's Angels alum will be guest starring on the show. E! News caught up with Barrymore and Kargman during a set visit earlier this month where they both addressed their family's new normal
