As the countdown to the Elementary season four finale begins, Sherlock's dearest dad Morland will take center stage beginning with Sunday, April 24's new episode—one of only three left in the year.

What begins as an investigation into the murder of one of Morland's employees this week will turn into a full-blown threat on the man's life, not to mention the lives of his son and Joan Watson, in the weeks ahead. In anticipation of the major Morland moments to come, we reached out to John Noble to see if the actor might want to shine some light on Morland's dire road ahead. What we received, exclusive to E! News, blew our minds.

Whether Papa Holmes will be dead or alive.

Bless you, John Noble. Never change.
