Watch: "Game of Thrones" Season 6 Even "More Epic"

Consider season six the ladies' of Westeros' season.

After a torturous wait, Game of Thrones finally returns this Sunday, and trust us when we say the season six premiere will prove to be well worth the wait. (And you can believe us, we've seen it. We can smell your jealousy.) One thing fans can expect from the HBO fantay hit's upcoming season is the focus on the female characters, which star Alfie Allen (aka Theon) previewed for E! News.

"We're going to see a lot of strong females come to the fore, without a doubt," he told Erin Lim on the red carpet at the season six premiere in Los Angeles.

One of those strong females fans will be seeing a new side of this year? Sophie Turner's Sansa Stark, who ran away from her abusive husband Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) with Theon in the season five finale. In the video above, Turner teased Sansa's "big rebirth," which has us ridiculously excited for her storyline.

However, we're not so excited to see the lengths Ramsay will go to to find his missing wife, with Iwan Theon previewing, "He needs her to consolidate his position in the North by producing an heir, so losing her is a major political blow for him. He needs to get her back." Gulp
