Lauren Conrad may be late to the party, but as a clothing designer, she's fashionably late.
The 30-year-old, who rose to fame with Laguna Beach and The Hills and is promoting her new book Celebrate, joined Snapchat last month and has discovered one of its key elements—the trippy selfie filters.
In an exclusive E! News video, L.C. uses an iPhone 6 to test out several, including the rainbows-from-mouth filter, the beard filter, the dog filter and the zombie face filter.
"Oh, that's weird. It's like the Mona Lisa but not," Conrad said about another.
Other The Hills alumni who have joined Snapchat include Conrad's friends Lo Bosworth and Whitney Port.
Conrad's Snapchat may end up being a far cry from her picture-perfect Instagram account, which features aesthetically beautiful images of flowers, crafts, treats, meals, her dogs and the star herself, who appears alone, with her friends and with her husband, William Tell, 36.
Conrad had also used Instagram to debut a new red hairstyle back in December. She has since reverted back to her honey blond locks.
