Chrissy Teigen just took to Instagram to share the very first picture of her newborn daughter, Luna! The sweet snapshot shows the new mom sitting outside staring at her little one, who is adorably relaxing in her famous mama's arms.
The supermodel flashes a smile at her daughter, giving us all the feels in this precious mother-daughter moment. "Hi my lulu," Teigen captioned the picture. And while we have yet to see little Luna's face, we can already tell that our assumptions of her cuteness being through the roof are completely validated.
The couple announced on Sunday morning that they welcomed their baby girl into the world on Thursday, and have dived head-first into a whole new world full of sleep deprivation, dirty diapers and absolute joy.
"John and Chrissy are in such a joyful place with their healthy baby girl Luna," a source close to the new mom recently told E! News. "They are surrounded by family and close friends. Chrissy and John can't stop gushing over Luna. She is perfect!"
And while we've only gotten a glimpse at their little bundle of joy, it seems like she's the perfect mix of her famous parents. "Luna looks like a mini Chrissy and has some of John's features. Luna has cute round cheeks and looks like a baby model already," the insider explains, but added, "They are not looking to get her into modeling anytime soon."
Well, in any case, her Instagram debut is definitely coming off strong.
"This is the best time in their lives," the source told us. "They are natural parents. They look at Luna as a blessing cause it was not an easy road having a baby. John sings to Luna all the time. This whole experience is stirring up some new music for John. Luna is an inspiration to them both."
