Nyle DiMarco is making waves this season of Dancing With the Stars and he's quick to not let you forget that. The America's Next Top Model winner received the first 10 of the season and he told E! News' Sibley Scoles he's honored to break that ground with the judges.
"I'm very honored to be the same person who got the first nine and now the first 10," he said. Lest you forget how much he's been tearing up the dance floor!
On the April 18 show, DiMarco wowed the judges, including guest judge Maksim Chmerkovskiy and brought his Top Model mama Tyra Banks to tears.
"She saw me last year as an amateur and didn't know how everything actually worked. I think now she can come and work and see how much I've grown in just a year," he told us. "I think on the show she was kind of like a mother figure. She sees what I've accomplished and we have a deep connection. To see her crying I think it was that understanding of what we have."
As for any behind-the-scenes secrets, well, there is just one that some other contestants may want to steal: Before each dance DiMarco admitted he has an espresso. Before the tango he had a quadruple espresso. "To keep that frame up, you got to do it," he said.
