We all know Taylor Swift has named her two adorable cats after strong female TV characters, including Law & Order: SVU's Olivia Benson (and, of course, Grey's Anatomy's Meredith Grey). But what about Dick Wolf's other TV empire, the One Chicago universe? Which Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. or Chicago Med character is worthy of a pet named after him or her?

When E! News sat down with Chicago Fire stars David Eigenberg and Eamonn Walker and Chicago Med stars Torrey DeVitto and Nick Gehlfuss, we asked them which Chicago characters they thought were pet name-worthy—and you might be surprised at their answers.

Eigenberg and Walker both wanted to name dogs after their coworkers instead of cats. Eigenberg picked Elias Koteas' Olinsky—"I love Olinsky. He's really quiet," he says—but only for a pug. Walker would go with a portmanteau made up of the series' most recent newlyweds: "A combination of Platt and Mouch and I'd call it Plout."

Chicago Med's DeVitto and Gehlfuss had other ideas. Gehlfuss would go with Otis, a classic pet name, while DeVitto would pay tribute to their own characters, Manning and Halstead, with Manstead. Definitely not just Halstead, but maybe "Doctor William" would work.

Chicago Med airs at 9 p.m. and Chicago Fire airs at 10 p.m. Tuesdays on NBC.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
