Oftentimes, however, Coachella-bound tresses can look so, so bizarre. How do stars like Nina Dobrev and Vanessa Hudgens get it right every time? They turn to celeb hairstylists and Nine Zero One salon co-owners Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri for help.
The hair gurus are masters of creating easy-yet-striking styles for the young Hollywood set. And this past weekend, they brought their Beauty Coach bus to the fairgrounds to give fans, including the celebs themselves, the festival treatment.
On Nina's Boho Curls: "Anyone can do this look with the right headpiece accents," they said.
Step 1: Braid a section of hair from underneath.
Step 2: Secure a feather at the end with a leather tie.
Step 3: To add body and curl to the rest of the hair, use the T3 Whirl Convertible Styling Wand.
Step 4: Spray TIGI S Factor Vivacious Hairspray for hold.
Step 5: Finish off the look with a dream catcher piece from Purble Beetle.
On Vanessa's Imperfectly Perfect Pony: "This look is best with rough-dried hair," explained the experts.
Step 1: Use the T3 PROi Professional Hair Dryer to create a more disheveled look.
Step 2: Section three large pieces of hair from top, middle and bottom and secure into separate ponytails. This will create the look of one long one.
Step 3: Apply TIGI Bed Head Joyride Texturizing Powder Balm and scrunch the hair for a perfected "messy" look.
Step 4: Add feathers at hair ends to keep the festive look going.
