Friday night was family night for Julianne Moore and her beautiful crew.

While stepping out at the Tribeca Film Festival for the premiere of Bart Freundlich's new film Wolves, the actress was more than happy to celebrate her husband's latest directorial project. In fact, fans of the A-list actress received an extra surprise when her two growing kids stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance.

Julianne's 14-year-old daughter Liv Freundlich joined older brother Caleb Freundlich to pose for photos in matching black ensembles.

As for dad, he was smiling from ear to ear before the drama made its premiere in the Big Apple.

New York City holds a special place for Bart who recently penned an essay on why the famous East Coast town is better for kids than Los Angeles.

"In any East Coast, West Coast rivalry, I am firmly planted in the East. I look at New York as the greatest place in the world. It is my hometown and mecca," he wrote in The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm constantly being enriched in New York, whereas in L.A. I have to look for it."

He added, "When I'm walking through the streets of New York, I experience all economic groups, races and ethnicities. That really shapes who you become as a person."

As for his wife Julianne, she's equally focused on family while still balancing a successful career in Hollywood.

"I discovered that [a family] was as important as my professional life. I didn't spend the time; I didn't invest," she previously confessed to THR. "One thing I used to tell my women friends was, 'There's an expectation that your personal life is going to happen to you, but you're going to have to make your career happen. And that's not true. You have to make your personal life happen as much as your career."

From our point of view, this family is winning on all fronts.
