Lance Bass does not appear to bear any grudge towards fellow *NSYNC alum Justin Timberlake for not being invited to his wedding to Jessica Biel in Italy.

The other three former boy band members, Joey Fatone, 39, Chris Kirkpatrick, 44, and JC Chasez, 39, also did not attend the 2012 nuptials. Bass, 36, was asked about not being invited to the wedding during an appearance on Khloe Kardashian's FYI Network talk show Kocktails With Khloe this week.

"That, everyone always asks that," Bass said. "And here's the real answer—is no. We were not. And a lot of people are like, 'That is so rude,' but I, I, if you think of it this way, you'll understand why we didn't go."

"When we get together, the five of us, it is, it's a spectacle. I mean, we rarely are all five together. You know, four of us will be together, three of us, but all five, people go nuts and it's all about *NSYNC and it's just taking picture after picture and, you know, he wanted that wedding to be about Jessica, you know, and he didn't want it to be an *NSYNC reunion," Bass continued.

Fellow guest Holly Robinson Peete, 51, asked Bass if Timberlake, 35, called him to tell him this was the reason he was not invited to the wedding.

"Oh yeah, definitely," he replied. "You know, we had the engagement party and all that, so that was, you know, lots of fun. But yeah, I mean, I totally understand and I respect that and I think it's kind of romantic to make it all about her, for that day. It was very thoughtful."

Fellow former *NSYNC member Chris Kirkpatrick, 44, had made similar comments.

"I wasn't invited to the wedding and from what I know it's because he didn't want all of us there," he said on the Orlando radio show Johnny's House in 2012, according to Billboard, adding there were "no hard feelings" about it since "we were at the engagement party."

"It would be a reunion rather than a wedding," Kirkpatrick added. "It was her day. She's amazing so he wanted to make sure it was about her."

Kirkpatrick, Fatone and Chasez all attended Bass's own wedding to Michael Turchin in 2014. Chasez even performed during the pair's first dance as a married couple. Timberlake was absent.

Bass had said in the past the singer was invited to his wedding but did not attend because he was performing a concert that day.

"He, his last day of his tour was my date," he said on Kocktails With Khloe. "My anniversary is December 20, so I had no idea people would actually tour up until that close to Christmas. But it was sad. Yeah. But, you know, he sent his love."

Timberlake did attend Kirkpatrick's wedding to Karly Skladany in 2013, which took place days before he began his 20/20 Experience world tour. He and his other former *NSYNC bandmates were members of the wedding party

That last time all five members of *NSYNC reunited publicly was months earlier, at the 2013 MTV VMAs.

Khloe, 31, asked Bass if he thought there was ever going to be another band reunion.

"I mean, who knows?" he said. "The great thing about us is we're all still family. We love each other, we hate each other, every emotion comes out when, you know, when you're family. So when things make sense, you know, we'll do it."
