Actor Clive Standen of Vikings fame was on hand at the IFTA Film & Drama Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 9 where Liam Neeson was the special honoree for his contribution to cinema. Standen will play the role of Bryan Mills in NBC's Taken series, which is being set up as a prequel to the three Taken movies Neeson starred in. Alex Cary will serve as showrunner on the NBC series. Luc Besson, creator of the franchise, will serve as executive producer. No premiere date for the new Taken series has been set.
