New Girl no longer: Fox announced today that its sitcom about the world's most dysfunctional roommates has been renewed for a sixth season.

That means Jess (Zooey Deschanel), Nick (Jake Johnson), Winston (Lamorne Morris) and the about-to-be-married Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) are returning for another year of cohabitating.

"Every network comedy should aspire to what [creator] Liz Meriwether is achieving in New Girl, with its bravura dialogue, inventive and witty performances by the talented cast and emotionally engaging storytelling," said Fox Broadcasting Company Entertainment President David Madden in a statement. "The series is as creatively strong today as it ever was, we want to congratulate New Girl on reaching its milestone 100th episode and we can't wait for the next subversive and hilarious chapter of these characters' lives."

Guest stars in the latter half of season five, which will see Schmidt and Cece finally tie the knot, include the return of Megan Fox as temp roomie Reagan (which the actress herself confirmed to E! News at CinemaCon), Damon Wayans Jr. as former roomie Coach, Meghan Rath as Coach's love (who inspired his cross-country move), Nasim Pedrad as Winston's cop partner/love interest, Peter Gallagher as Schmidt's dad, Rob Riggle as Schmidt's cousin as well as appearances from Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead), Kal Penn (House), Nora Dunn (Saturday Night Live) and Kim Wayans (In Living Color).

New Girl airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox.
