In case you thought her life couldn't get any sweeter...
In addition to having a whole nation at her teeny-tiny feet upon arrival, Princess Charlotte now has her own flower—the Princess Charlotte chrysanthemum!
Last May, Dutch flower company Deliflor—which, according to London's Telegraph, is the world's largest chrysanthemum breeder—delivered a bouquet of the blooms to Kate Middleton and Prince William after their daughter was born. Powder-pink with green tips, the version of the flower was named after the little royal, who is often adorably dressed in shades of light pink.
Still a month shy of her first birthday, the tot is already quite used to being an inspiration. She and brother Prince George save the day in the children's book The Birthday Crown; plus, Charlotte has inspired a chic baby clothing line from designer Seraphine and her rosy complexion prompted Marc Jacobs to create a deep-rose pink lipstick called "Charlotte."
Having a flower named after her is just another reason why she was ranked No. 1 on the Tatler list (of "people who really matter"), trumping every member of her famous family.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Princess Charlotte chrysanthemum will be donated to East Anglia's Children Hospices, of which the Duchess of Cambridge is a patron.
The flower will also be exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show in May, an always hotly anticipated event that members of the royal family attend annually, and will be in the running for Flower of the Year.
