Iki App

Everyone has that one friend or family member who's always claiming to have seen something coming from a mile away. They probably yelled "I called it!" when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got back together or, "I told you!" when Full House decided to make a comeback. Now there's a special place in hell  app for the know-it-alls in your life called "IKI," or "I Knew It." Engadget notes the app will be available to Android users sometime later this year but is accessible in the App Store now. Perfect for the hipster who claims they knew so-and-so would release a song together six years before anyone else.

The app is really simple to use. Log in with either Twitter or Facebook and you'll be prompted to judge other users predictions. Quickly swipe right if you agree or left if you don't. The app, whose catchphrase is "It feels good to be right," of course lets you add your own predictions, which is where the fun really starts. Come up with a thought that you might come true, create an "iki" with your prediction, and the app will timestamp it for you. Users can do everything from guessing the winner of the next big game, to naming the day when humans discover alien life in the pyramids. No joke. If it were up to us, we would predict a Laguna Beach reunion show, a Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris engagement next year, and an episode of Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown guest starring Guy Fieri.

Mark our words, y'all! Have a hunch which '90s guy crush will revive his career? Know what Justin Bieber is thinking in this photo? Of course you do! Now go and post it in the app so can laugh it up when the truth is revealed. If your prediction comes true, you'll earn points in the app and shareable proof that you totally knew it would happen. The next time someone tries to doubt you and your all-knowing skills, whip out the IKI app and knock their skeptical socks off.
