Ashley Salter, a fan-favorite from Chris Soules' season and later Bachelor in Paradise, welcomed son Brooks Hartman Brannen Thursday morning. She Instagrammed a photo of herself, fiancé Austin Brannen and their adorable new addition shortly after, writing, "Long stormy night brings a beautiful angel this morning. Brooks Hartman Brannen 7lbs 2oz 4/7/16"
Baby Brooks' parents were actually college sweethearts at Auburn University, but they only rekindled their romance after Ashley's stint on Bachelor in Paradise. In September 2015, Ashley S. announced her engagement to Austin and even took a little jab at The Bachelor franchise. She Instagrammed a photo of her stunning ring with a bouquet of red roses, writing, "12 is better than 1 #roses."
Ashley S. and Austin went public with the news they were expecting when they attended Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert's wedding in February, which was televised as part of The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love. "This happened fast," Ashley S. told Chris Harrison with a grin.
The Bachelor host couldn't have been any happier for Ashley S. and her happiness. In the past, he called her "one of my favorite women to have ever been on this show."
