U2's Bono and The Edge were at iHeartRadio Music Awards 2016 to receive the prestigious Innovator Award, but that doesn't mean they had to enjoy themselves, damn it!

During G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha's performance of "Me, Myself & I," the camera cut to Bono and The Edge sitting at their table and the guys looked…less than impress to say the least.

OK, they looked flat-out bored and actually a little bit annoyed. Their blank stares combined with the swirling lights makes for one of our new favorite GIFs:

Legendary rock stars get bored at award shows. Who knew?

Maybe they were just reflecting on the fact that they were about to accept the Innovator Award, which they did following G-Eazy's performance. That would explain why those two weren't even bopping their heads or doing literally anything to show that they were hearing any music at all.

Well, when you're U2, you can basically do whatever the hell you want.

"Now a lot of people will find this hard to believe and I accept that, but Edge is actually from the future," Bono told the crowd during their acceptance speech. "And I was going to ask Edge in front of you all what does the future sound like?"

"Rock and roll," Edge answered.

It's safe to say the future will also include the GIF of those guys looking bored, because it's THE BEST.
